The spacious, fully equipped rooms provide perfect base for your wilderness adventure. The panoramic view of the Lapland sky from the glass-roofed room is like a window into your dreams. In our Northern Light rooms you can explore Finnish design, which is known worldwide for its practicality, beauty and strong connection to nature.

The rooms are equipped with

  • Our comprehensively equipped rooms are ecological with low-energy usage.
  • The spacious 32 m² rooms comfortably accommodate 2–4 people.
  • Each room has its own entrance from the outside.
  • A high-quality motorized double bed is placed under the glass roof that opens up to views of the northern sky.
  • An extra bed is a sofa bed that can be conveniently extended and converted into two separate beds.
  • The windows are possible to cover with blackout curtains, which is especially nice in the summertime during the nightless nights of Lapland.
  • The rooms have spacious shower with toilet, and separate drying cabinet for clothes.
  • The well-equipped kitchenette includes a refrigerator, stove, dishes and cutlery, an electric kettle, a coffee maker, microwave and dishwasher.
    Airconditioning and electric fireplace provide warmth and ambiance.
    The washing machine at reception is free of use for our guests.

Pyhä Igloos is ecological accommodation on environmental terms.

When staying with us, you can easily manage without a car. You can access the hiking trails, ski trails and ski resort of Pyhä-Luosto directly from your accommodation. The nearest grocery store, restaurants and the Naava Nature Center are located about 600 meters away.

We are a Green Key certified host

We maintain sustainable tourism. As a Green Key certified accommodation, our daily environmental work includes resource efficiency in water and energy consumption, waste reduction and recycling as well as offering local, vegetarian and organic products, using eco-labelled detergents, cleaning agents and paper, also enabling customers to travel ecologically and to be able to enjoy nature tourism.

Recycling is an essential part of our service concept

We choose ecological products and materials, avoiding unnecessary packaging materials and always recycle bio-waste in our own composter. Recycling bins can be found under the sink in every room.

We avoid unnecessary laundry

We use environmentally friendly and eco-labeled laundry detergents and avoid unnecessary laundry. Bed linen and towels are changed after the fourth night. If you would like to have them changed more often, please contact reception.

Parking and electric car charging facilities

There are free parking spaces in the courtyard, as well as free 11 kWh charging point for charging hybrid and electric cars.

A healthy log building ensures good indoor air quality in the apartments.

Pyhä Igloos are built from logs of Lapland, which are breathable, durable and natural. The building has a small carbon footprint, as wood absorbs carbon dioxide and the material can be recycled or reused. Igloos indoor air is highly fresh and very healthy.

Saving Finland’s freshly clean and drinkable tap water is very important to us

Finnish tap water is high quality, clean, safe and tastes amazing straight from the tap. We want to save our precious water and we have made it easy for you too: the rooms have water-saving taps and toilets. Please select the eco program in the dishwasher in the rooms and follow the detergent dosage instructions, thank you.

The basis of sustainable operations is the use of renewable energy

We use renewable energy sources on our property, such as geothermal energy and solar energy. Airconditioning heats the rooms in the winter and cool in the summer which helps reducing the energy overconsumption of the accommodation service. The electricity we use is ecological and green electricity.
